Orchestra leaders

	As a proud alumnus of the Leningrad Conservatoire, Alexey Michailovich Dolgov (b. 1952) works at the Musical Lyceum. There, he leads several orchestras and teaches bayan — an accordion-like instrument. He has an intensive concert schedule, including concerts at the Concertgebow Hall in Amsterdam and the Grand Hall of Saint-Petersburg Philarmonia. Dolgov is the author of many widely used musical adaptations for Russian folk orchestras. Dolgov was officially awarded the prestigious title of Honored Cultural Worker. Dolgov became a Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Orchestra in 1985.
	The Assisting Conductor of the Orchestra is Yuriy Gorobets. He also plays accordion and balalaika double-bass.
	Olga Zadubrovskaya is a leader of the domra group of the Orchestra.
	Alla Kovaleva is a leader of the balalaika group of the Orchestra.
	Georgy Blagodatov plays piano and organ. He is also a commercial director of the Orchestra.
